A ROOF LIKE HOME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN NDG
The main objective of the project is to mobilize the community towards a project aimed at increasing the number of new social and affordable housing units for at-risk youth in NDG. The first phase of the project consisted of carrying out a needs assessment of the housing needs of youth in NDG. Currently underway, the second phase aims to develop partnerships with the community.
COOPERATIVE: SHARING AND SOLIDARITY
The "Cooperative: Sharing and Solidarity" project is led by LoigsAction NDG from 2021 to 2023. The goal of the project is to maintain the existing cooperative projects in the neighborhood of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in good condition. In addition, the objective of the project is put in contact tenants who live in cooperatives experiencing financial difficulties, insalubrity, or management with cooperatives who work well. Ultimately, the cooperatives will share their knowledge with one another and create contacts that encourage mutual support.
Past projects
AT HOME IN NDG
The goal of the project was to equip older tenants with the knowledge and support they needed to participate in solving housing problems. This project enabled us to transmit essential information to elderly tenants, to better target the issues that affect them and to increase the accessibility of our services.
ST-RYAMOND/
WESTHAVEN
This is a demographic survey funded by the municipality, in collaboration with the Health and Urban Planning departments of the University of Montreal. The study aimed to study in depth the demography, housing conditions and the location in the neighborhood.
